Kimberly Kanary is the vice president of community development and engagement at JTV (Jewelry Television), where she leads social media and PR, as well as the Gemstone Education and Advancement function. Kim is responsible for all social media and influencer marketing, including strategy, channels, organic and paid campaigns and measurement, team members, outside agencies and partners. She also leads a team of gemstone experts accountable for content creation, product testing and research, education and outreach, as well as curation of internal and external JTV collections.
Kim is a marketing communications executive and digital/social media expert. She joined JTV with over 15 years of experience across marketing and public relations. Kim’s background spans various industries, including retail, CPG, beauty, luxury, real estate and financial. She has a proven track record of elevating and exceeding the strategic goals of the organizations with whom she is affiliated.
Prior to joining JTV, Kim served as the vice president, public relations and social media, North America, at Signet Jewelers. There, she developed groundbreaking communications, digital and social media programs, and achieved a remarkable ROI for brands such as Kay Jewelers, Jared, Zales and others. Prior to Signet, she served as vice president of corporate communications for Associated Estates Realty Corporation, assistant vice president of retail/internal communications at National City Corporation (now PNC), and held other marketing communications roles at Smucker’s and others.
Kim received her Bachelor of Arts in communications from Baldwin Wallace University and her Master’s from Bowling Green State University. She resides in Knoxville, TN with her wonderful husband, Shaun, and their three Great Danes.
