Miriam Washington Kendall has been a digital marketing consultant and business executive for 20 years. She is the chief marketing officer for M.Gemi, a brand reinventing the luxury market by bringing the highest quality, handcrafted, Italian-made footwear directly to consumers at uncommon prices. Previously, she led global customer relationship management for one of the fastest-growing retailers in the world, Under Armour. She is an industry thought leader, a keynote speaker, and a contributing author to a 2004 Amazon top 10 business book, “Managing Customer Relationships: A Strategic Framework.”
Prior to leading global CRM at Under Armour, she oversaw Under Armour’s North American direct-to-consumer acquisition and retention marketing. She has also worked with and for some of the top consulting and marketing services companies, including Peppers & Rogers Group, Wunderman, Y&R, and Ernst & Young, and ran her own consulting company, Ratio Consulting.
Kendall has served a wide variety of Fortune 500 clients including Microsoft, Ford, Nordstrom, Pitney Bowes, Citigroup, BP, and Dell. While she has a broad range of experiences, her focus has always been around creating multichannel business strategies that maximize both the customer experience and the brand’s business returns.
